Excitech has developed a specific one-day training course aimed at those either seeking to understand the benefits of adopting this powerful design tool and how this may aid their organisation or those looking to successfully implement this across their design teams.

The training course will cover considerations of implementation, such as installation and data exchange as well as how best to target and run subsequent training. It will also present an opportunity to experience using Revit Structure through the hands-on sessions and be guided through its use in real-world structural design scenarios.

The next course is in Excitech's London training centre on 9th December and costs just £150 per person.

Excitech Launches Structural Services Division

Excitech is pleased to announce the formation of its new Excitech Structural Solutions business unit which is focused on UK Structural Engineering. Nigel Rees has joined Excitech to head up this division and expand its presence in the Structural Engineering market. Nigel brings with him 9 years of technical experience of Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis (RSA) software (formerly known as Robot Millennium).

Commenting on the launch of the new division, Managing Director Adrian Atkinson said; “there has been a problem within the industry in providing even the most basic levels of support and training for the new Autodesk RSA software."

Atkinson continues by explaining that "This means that Excitech is in the unique position of being able to partner with its customers and help them realise the maximum value from their investment in the latest structural design and analysis solutions."

This year Excitech has produced a range of CPD approved, short video presentations each typically lasting no longer than 8 minutes. These videos highlight some of the key new features in the mainstream Autodesk applications and the benefits these can bring both to the end-user and design team.

These presentations by Excitech's consultants can be viewed at a time and place convenient to you from the Excitech web site and will be made available via DVD shortly to Excitech's Subscription Customers.

It has just come to my attention that CSC (UK) Ltd have recently announce its appointment as an authorised Autodesk AEC reseller for the supply of Autodesk Revit Structure, together with associated training and support services, within the UK and Ireland.

Their web site states that:-
