Revit 2011 and things I can not say!

6:55 - Being covered by a couple of Non Disclosure Agreements as a Beta Tester and a Blogger I can say anything at the moment about Revit 2011

Whist others are letting the cats out of the bag and all round the town and even on YouTube! The Department of miss-information for Autodesk tells you one thing and then you read another on blogs and twitter. I asked about a launch date and was told they "don’t want to put that stake in the ground at the moment"!.

After the sham of a mockery of a travesty of a sham that was Service Pack 3 for 2010 I would rather see that stake “sanded and splinter free” before anyone puts it in the ground. but in the ground it's been placed.

Looks like I will be waiting for Service Pack One and the Hotfix to the bugs in that before rolling out 2011

Sham of a mockery of a travesty of a sham kind of describes the fragmented way the Beta, Blogger and Reseller are being co-ordinated to give a combine marketing push for Revit 2011.

16:15 just seen David Light has been given a green light to post about Whats New in Revit Architecture 2011

As I can't post about Revit here is a little something for Dave, The Architects Sketch.....

We always wait for the first service pack before we even think about installing and rolling out, so it'll be the summer before we rolling RST 2011 out. I will get an advance in that as I need to set up the templates etc ;)

What I really want to see is examples of the Adaptive Components being used structurally, and if they can be used that way. Don't know how you feel about them, but there's massive potential there. Fingers crossed Autodesk expand their capabilites for us mere structural guys!
